Meaning: Honeybee.

Madhukara’s totem is the honey bee. We are the honey makers, dedicated and hard-working, just like the bee, to make life sweet. As instruments of divine work, the honey bee is one of the planet’s smallest creatures, but yet it has a big impact.

OUR MISSION

Madhukara is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization devoted to awakening the sacred potential within humanity. Through compassionate service, we recognize every person as a reflection of the divine. We offer essential resources, transformative education, and healing services that empower individuals and communities to live with dignity, wholeness, and joy.

We served more than 3,500 meals at @lsscentralohio, @starhousecolumbus and at Hope Ministries in South Bend, IN

We supported 40 families in need providing assistance for rent, utilities, groceries, medical supplies and equipment.

@madhukara_farm is growing! With over 100# of produce harvested and hundreds of dozen of eggs collected from our flock!

We held 24+ Sacred Fires and 11 special events including a weekend retreat with Devi Ma @sarahyantra.

Over 200 individual supported us directly with their kind donations and volunteering their time to support our mission. THANK YOU!

Why we offer coconuts 🥥 🔥-

The coconut represents us and all of creation. The coconut also represents pure consciousness. Everything, all of the Five Elements, plus divine consciousness is inside a coconut — just as it is in you. The coconut represents ourselves and the hard shell of our egos, that when ‘cracked’ and released, reveals the purity and divine consciousness within us.

When we charge a coconut with our prayers, we are putting our intentions (sankalpams) into the coconut, into the pure consciousness.

There is air and water inside that is new to this Creation. When we crack a coconut open we’re releasing our prayers into this creation with the new air and new water that are joining this creation for the first time. A divine alchemy happens. This combination of the pure elements together is like adding jet fuel - angelic jet fuel - to your prayers.
